It’s not often a rapper comes along and is viewed as having abilities beyond the microphone. Some, such as Kanye West and 50 Cent, are able to venture into other industries such as television or fashion, though it’s not a common sight in today’s rap game. Well, a young Chicago kid by the name of Valee is changing that view once and for all. The renaissance man of the rap game is known for hemming his own clothing, building fast-cars, tattooing others as well as himself, and he even builds koi ponds in his spare time. Though don’t let these skills and other interest deter you from actually listening to his music. This dude is bringing some serious heat. Recently signed to Kanye West’s label, G.O.O.D. Music, the young emcee is bringing back that Chi-town vibe that rappers like Chief Keef and Chance the Rapper have in past times. He’s a breath of fresh air in today’s world of mumble rap and face tattoos, and we believe he’s here to make serious waves in the near future. Valee released GOOD Job, You Found Me on March 2, 2018, as his first album with the G.O.O.D. Music family and it’s not a let down in the least. Some of the hottest songs to check from this rising star include “Womp Womp”, “Shell”, and “Skinny”.
