J. Cole, who is currently taking over arenas nation wide on his KOD Tour was set to headline the first ever ‘Dreamville Festival’ in Raleigh, North Carolina this upcoming September 15th. Unfortunately, due to recent news about the approaching Hurricane Florence, Cole had to take to his twitter and announce that the festival has to be cancelled for safety reasons. The festival was set to have multiple big artists performing including Young Thug, YBN Cordae, Big Sean, Rich the Kid, Teyana Taylor, and of course J. Cole himself among others.
The festival team had been working with the city of Raleigh for more than 3 years to get the festival in full gear and are saying “this is without a doubt one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make.”
Mannn. Due to this Hurricane heading to NC, we have to cancel Dreamville Festival. We’re working to get another date, but right now safety is most important. I appreciate everybody that was headed to rock with us. 30,000 + were expected. 🤯🤯
All tickets will be refunded. Bsafe

If you did already purchase your ticket and are just receiving this news, don’t fret, Cole and his entire team are giving 100% refunds for all festival goers that will be delivered over the next 21 days. Also, Cole said the festival will be picked for a new date and all buyers are invited to come then if possible. Over 30,000 people were set to attend this coming Saturday, so this is without a doubt a big let down for the whole Dreamville team.
